Call for Poster Abstracts – EXTENDED DEADLINE

Submission Guidelines:

The theme of the conference is “Embracing the Challenges”. The conference planning committee welcomes poster abstracts that portray innovative and useful solutions to challenges nurses face caring for children and families in all pediatric health care environments. We are looking for posters in the following categories: Research, Clinical, Patient Education, and Professional Development.

The Regional Conference Poster Planning Committee will review posters abstracts and selection will be based on the following:

  • Clarity of explanation of subject matter
  • Significance, scope, application, level of audience interest
  • Feasibility of application to a range of pediatric practice settings
  • Creativity/uniqueness of topic
  • Absence of commercial content

  • All applicants will receive an email confirming receipt of the abstract.
  • Presenters will be notified of the committee’s decision by August 8, 2009.
